Minera Candelaria nombra nuevo Presidente y Director Ejecutivo

Minera Candelaria se complace en anunciar el nombramiento de su nuevo Presidente y Director Ejecutivo, Luis Sánchez Rodríguez, quien se incorporará a la organización el 1 de marzo de 2021.

Luis Sánchez tiene más de 25 años de experiencia en la industria minera. Actualmente se desempeña como Gerente General de Zaldívar, una operación conjunta de Antofagasta Minerals y Barrick Gold en Chile. Antes, ocupó cargos ejecutivos en BHP Chile, como Vicepresidente de Salud y Seguridad; Presidente de Pampa Norte; Gerente General de Spence; y Vicepresidente de Operaciones de Minera Escondida.

El nuevo Presidente de Candelaria es ingeniero civil metalúrgico de la Universidad de Concepción y tiene una Maestría en Administración y Dirección de Empresas (MBA) de la Universidad de Chile.
